2025 Food Vendor Application

Cowboy Up in Kiowa brings a wide range of vendors to our community during the Cowboy Up in Kiowa Rodeo weekend.

Guests can enjoy a unique shopping experience, choose food from a variety of food vendors, enjoy an adult beverage from one of the Cowboy Up in Kiowa Saloons, take in all the rodeo action and a attend a concert all in one place!

Fees
$130 + $30 for county electric charge
Payment must be made online when submitting your application.

Elbert County Requirements
All vendors must acquire a Town of Kiowa Business License or Transient Vendor License from the Town of Kiowa. Please call 303-621-2366 for more information on this license.

Elbert County Fairgrounds Requirements
Elbert County Fairgrounds requires all food vendors to verify they have a current Health Inspection for Elbert County. Please call 303-621-3193 for more information.

Move-In & Move-Out
Move-In: Must be moved in by 2PM Friday and ready to open by 4PM
(gates allowing access to the vendor area close at 2PM)
Move-Out: Sunday 8AM-Noon
Vendors must stay set up through the entire event. We are unable to accommodate requests to leave and then return once the gates are closed at 2PM on Friday.

Hours of Operation
Friday: 5PM-10PM*
Saturday: 2PM-10PM* (start time is up to the vendor; must be open by 5pm)
* food and outdoor vendors may stay open during the concert

Sales Tax Information
Kiowa - 1.5%
Elbert County - 1%
Colorado State - 2.9%
Total - 5.4%
